Recommended use
Spot drilling on flat surfaces:
1. Spot drill with a conventional solid carbide drill, e.g. art. 2477 on Ø FB of the following RT 100 FB
or on Ø FB + 0.20 mm to apply a chamfer directly. 2. Insert the RT 100 FB at the full feed rate.
Spot drilling or exiting on inclined surfaces:
Up to 15° = reduce feed by 25 %, up to 30° = reduce feed by 50 %, and up to max. 45° = reduce feed by 75 %. When fully wrapped, the feed rate can be raised to 100 %
